Avery Lyn

Our Miss Avery Lyn has been such a wonderful blessing to have in our lives.  She is a very good baby minus the colicky trapped gas for the first two months, but even that wasn't too bad.  She started smiling around 4 1/2 weeks and hasn't stopped smiling since, she is a very happy baby. If she makes eye contact with you, you usually get a huge grin, she also laughs the cutest laughs, and loves to talk. She isn't quite rolling over, but probably will be soon.  At her two month appointment she was 10 lbs. 4 oz. 50th percentile, and she was 24 in. long 95th percentile. She is pretty good at sleeping through the night.  She was sleeping in the car seat for about a month because she would sleep through the night in there.  She loves to sleep swaddled and she sleeps in a swaddling sack, which she has a love hate relationship with. She usually gives me about 8-9 hours of sleep. She is now 4 1/2 months old and will be going in for her four month checkup next week.  Braxton and Bailey just adore her, and she loves to talk and smile at them, they are going to spoil her when she gets older.  She is such a joy to have, we can't imagine our lives without our little Aves.

Bailey Bean

My Sassy Bailey is such a joy!  Everybody asks how having three kids has been and I always say it hasn't been that bad because Bailey is such an easy going, good girl.  She has made the transition from two to three easy for me thus far, that might not be the case in the future, but for now it has been very manageable.  Bailey is also a big help to me like her brother, she loves to help me with Avery and she mimicks things that I say to Avery.  It is funny to hear her high pitched " Hi Avery Girl".  Bailey turned two in March she had a birthday party with the family.  She has grown up so much since Avery was born all of sudden she was not a baby anymore she is a little girl.  She is such a good talker and can communicate so well, which in turn helps to have no tantrums.  She is sassy and has her own little attitude.  She is such a special girl and are so lucky to have her.

Braxton Update

My sweet Braxton has been such a big help since Avery has arrived. He is such a helper getting things for me, entertaining Bailey and just doing whatever I ask of him. We celebrated his 7th birthday in February, we had a family party and then he had a super hero party with his friends.  He is still loving school, he is reading better everyday and he really likes Science.  I am selfish and am excited to have him home during the summer.  I just love my only boy so much!!

Finally I am updating the blog! It will take a little time updating, there are so many pictures.  Here was Avery's little photo shoot, I took them myself. I really wanted to do professional ones, but didn't want to have to fork over the money, so I tried it myself.  It is not easy to take newborn pictures, but they turned out okay.
