Independence Day

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the history of Independence Day, one of these days I will get to go to Boston and Philadelphia, but in the mean time we had a great 4th of July starting it out like always in Provo for the Balloon Festival. It was a little too windy and the balloons couldn't quite make it up, till we were leaving then they starting blowing up and taking off, so we really didn't have to get up at 5:00 to come see the balloons this year. Later we had hamburgers and went swimming at my parents house. Then in the evening we went to Doug's Parents for fireworks. We enjoyed our time with all our families, and Bailey got to experience her first 4th of July.

Woke up early to see the balloons.

You might think they belong to them....

but they actually belong to us.

It was an early morning. She was tired.

Losee Family

Little William eating his breakfast.

Just as we were leaving the balloons starting going up.

Miss Bailey in her Independence Day attire. Girls are so much fun to dress.

Her first time swimming

William loved the water too.

Look how brown my Braxton is.

Like Father, like son.

Hunter loved laughing at the fireworks.

The Smith Clan watching the fireworks.

It was really cold we had to bundle up. Bailey loved the fireworks. She would even watch the ones way up in the sky and follow them.

He has the Smith genes. He lit all his fireworks by himself.

I love our "fake" family picture. I know I say this all the time but i would die and go to heaven if my kids are as cute as my nieces and nephews are. really, i'll just giggle for days. and bailey's dress sans the cardigan is so cute...i didn't get to see it really on the 4th because she was so bundled up in that sweater and blanket. very, very adorable. I'm excited for dressing my little ones up!
