Ringing in the New Year

We had Family and the Larson's over for New Years's, we consider them family. We ate lots of good food, talked, played some Super Monkey Balls, and chased the kids around. It was fun to just relax and hang out with friends and family. 2011 was a good year, here is to and even better year in 2012.

Christmas

Well this was definetly a Christmas we will always remember. Doug and I got our present a few days early. Made it seem as if we had two Christmas', we were so excited for Avery to arrive then five days later we were excited for Christmas. We enjoyed Christmas Eve with my family we ate, did the Nativity and exchanged gifts. Christmas morning was really fun to see Braxton and Bailey be so excited to open their presents and to be so appreciative of their gifts. Avery slept through all the present opening. We had Grandparents come by and see what we got. Then Christmas Evening we went to the Smith's for more good food and more gifts. We are so Thankful for all the gifts that we were given, for the save arrival of our little girl and for our Savior, the reason why we celebrate this wonderful holiday.

The day before we had Avery, Braxton had his first piano recital, he did so well. He didn't even seem nervous. I am so amazed at how well he is understanding how to play the piano and I love that he enjoys it.

Celebrating Christmas Eve with the Spence's

Logan and Camille had us for Christmas they got Braxton a bunch of stuffed Angry birds, he was thrilled to get them.

They gave Bailey an adorable purse and necklaces, she loves to say " I pretty" when she wears necklaces.

Avery Lyn Smith

Our little Avery Lyn Smith arrived on December 20th. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 in. long. The c-section went well, Avery came out breach, and folded in half. She also came out crying a lot,I guess she was very comfortable inside me. The first thing I noticed about her, were her cute chubby cheeks. She has her own look and is such a sweet girl, we can't imagine our lives without her. Braxton and Bailey are so in love with their little sister. Doug was so awesome taking care of me when I came home and with all the holiday celebrations, and taking care of Braxton and Bailey. Our families were also so helpful in taking Braxton and Bailey it really helped when adjusting those first two weeks. We can't thank them enough.

Getting ready to go in for the c-section

Our little Avery

She is "angry" as Bailey would say

I love this look she is giving.

So excited to see their new baby sister.

Daddy loves his little girl, it was nice to spend some alone time with Doug, her and I in the hospital.

Coming home

She had to be under the bili lights for the first week trying to get bili levels down under 10. Not fun when you just want to hold your newborn.

Sleeping so peacefully.

Finally got to dress her in clothes.
