Pumpkin Carving

I have never carved pumpkins with my pumpkin, so I thought this year he would like to experience pumpkin carving. Well Gavin was more excited to carve the pumpkins than Braxton, but he still had fun with the finished product.

Shoulder Surgery

Doug had surgery on his shoulder a week and half ago. He had a torn Labrum which they had to go in and repair. The surgery went well and he is recovering nicely. He is very independent, so I try to help, when he will let me. He can't wait till the sling is gone. You don't realize how much you use both your arms till you can't use one of them.

Vegas Vacation

Braxton and I went down to Vegas with Brynn, Casey and Gavin for Fall Break. Doug was suppose to come, but due to having surgery on his shoulder, doctor told him it would not be wise. I am really not a bad wife leaving my husband all alone at home after surgery. I told him I would stay but he insisted we go. So needless to say we had a fun vacation in Vegas, but missed Doug not being with us.

So to share with you, here are a "few" pics of our Vacation in Vegas.

In-n-Out Burger is one of our favorite places to stop.

Braxton loved the "whales" dolphins at the Mirage.

There were four new tiger cubs and they were playing for us.

The fish tank in front of the Cheesecake Factory.

The Cheesecake Factory another favorite place to eat.

While waiting for our shuttle Braxton started feeding some birds and they just kept on coming. "Look at those funny birds".

The Bellagio is my favorite hotel to see because of the conservatory and the fountains. The Fall theme and flowers were gorgeous and it smelled wonderful.

Braxton shares my love for the fountains. He wanted to keep on watching.

Our Hotel had a very fun pool with a little beach too. The boys had fun playing in the sand and swimming. It was the perfect weather.

Brynn is starting to get a cute little belly.

Family Fun

A week ago we celebrated Kevin's (Doug's brother) and Rick's (brother in law) birthdays. We had dinner at Kris' house and then the kids had some fun. They had a huge banner that was used as a slip and slide, they warmed up in the hot tub, and the "older'' ones played ping pong. So here are few pics of the cousins having fun.

Gretchen going down the slip in slide. They put soap on the slide to make it more slick, so at the bottom there was a lot of bubbles.

Madison and Kaegan going down the slip in slide.

Braxton and Malori thought the slide was too cold so they opted for the hot tub.

The cousins enjoying the warm hot tub.

Ping Pong fun! Braxton is trying to help Dad and Caecee.

Brian and Hayden the opposing team.
