Milestones

I thought I would post about two of our milestones this month. Braxton lost his first tooth, he had been working on it for about a week then finally decided to toughin up and get it out. It is crazy the feeling I felt when he told me he had a lose tooth, and then when he lost it. I was so overjoyed for him, and at the same time thought I have a kid old enough to loose a tooth. I am sure those of you moms who have had kids loose their teeth understand. Also, Bailey is starting to walk, or I should say taking steps. She hasn't fully committed to wanting to walk quite yet, but before we know it she will be walking all over the place.

The next morning when the tooth fairy came. He got a $2 bill.

I thought I would throw some cute pictures of Bailey in the tub.

Hardware Ranch

We went up to Hyrum, with Doug's Family to visit Hardware Ranch. It is always a fun gathering, we see the Elk on a sleigh ride and then we go eat lunch together at Maddox.

10 months

Miss Bailey Bean is now over 10 months old, and we wonder where the time as gone. Can't believe in a couple months she will be one years old. She is an absolute joy to have. She is such a good baby and usually pretty content. She loves playing with toys and reading books and especially playing with Braxton. He is such a good brother and always so willing to play with her. He gets sad when she has to go down for her naps. Bailey has now mastered crawling down the stairs which is so nice I don't have to worry about her falling, but now we just have to shut the doors to the rooms we don't want her in. She really could walk if she wanted to, but I don't know if she is chicken or just playing us. She will take a step or two then get down and start crawling. We often times find her standing all on her own. In the next month she is going to be walking all over the place. She is a really good eater, she especially loves ham and of course fruit snacks. Well this little lady is growing like crazy, its sad to see her growing up, but so much fun at the same time. We sure do love her.

She loves stuffed animals, these are Braxton's animals.

Rocking

My mom has her baby rocking chair and her mother's little rocking chair, so one day when we were over at her house we got the rocking chairs out to put Braxton and Bailey in them and Bailey immediately knew what to do and started rocking.

Ice Skating and Sledding

Since it is Winter we decided to do a few winter activities in January. The beginning of the month we went sledding with the Bullock family up to Tibble Fork. We had a lot of fun, and a few crashes. Braxton hit a few hard bumps, but he kept going up. Bailey loved sledding, but didn't want to be put down.
Then the next week we took Braxton ice skating for the first time. We made the mistake of taking Bailey and they won't let you hold a baby while on the ice, so Doug and I took turns with Braxton. He did really well, by the time we were done skating, he was starting to get it. So next time we go he will be a pro.

New Year's Eve

We had our annual New Year's Eve Party and started off the night with temporary tattoos. We had some good food to eat and played some games that had us laughing (Thanks Jared for the Cosmo Cramer impersonation), and ended the night with Sparkling Cidar and poppers. 2010 was a good year for our family, we hope that 2011 will be just as good if not better. Here's to ringing in the new year.
