Park City

We went to Park City on Saturday. Doug's family has a time share this week, and we always love to go up and go swimming and go to the Chocolate Factory. Our favorite is the Apple Pie Apple. We did go for a little walk around the Park City Resort and Braxton got to play in the snow. We were going to stay up there overnight, but with our car breaking down last week and the washer we decided to save some money, because we always spend a lot at Park City.

Braxton and Bennett

We had the Cox Family over Friday night, and Braxton just lovesto play with Bennett. They look cozy watching a movie. Such good friends.

Revised Family pictures

Well, our friend Jared did some magic and helped out our family picture. You can't even tell he did anything. I think this is the one we will use for our Christmas card, what do you think?

Family pictures

Saturday we went up the canyon to Sundance to get family pictures for our Christmas cards. We knew it would be snowing, but thought that it would be fun. It was so cold! I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to, and Doug is not one for taking pictures, so we had a limited number. This one is probably going to be the one we use, unless our friend Jared can do a little editing. I am just trying to come up with a cute saying for Braxton's face.

Our Family

My sister Brynn has a blog and my sister Alicia has a website, so I thought it was about time that I had something, so Brynn talked me into starting a blog.
Doug and I have been married for seven years and we have our little boy Braxton, who is the cutest thing in the world! (every mom thinks that, they wouldn't be a mom if they didn't). We live in Pleasant Grove in a condo across from Macey's. Doug works at his dad's pharamacy Smith Rexall Drug on Main Street in Pleasant Grove. He graduated with his accounting degree at UVSC last December. I am teaching 1st grade at a charter school, called Navigator Pointe Academy in West Jordan. I graduated with my B.S. in Human Development and Family Consumer Studies from the University of Utah. I was also an athlete there so I root for the red, but there aren't really any career jobs with a degree like that, so I am going through the Alternative Route to Licensure Program through the state. I have completed all my extra classes I had to take, I passed the praxis and I have taught for two complete years and I am starting my third, so any month now I should have my teaching license Yeah!
