Little Peanut on the way!

Well most of you already know, but for those who don't we are EXTREMELY excited to share that we will be expecting a little peanut in March! This has been a long time coming and Braxton is so excited to be getting a baby brother or sister. Yeah!

I couldn't believe it when I looked at the pregnancy test. For two years I had been wishing for this and it was finally here.

Because of our circumstance, our doctors wanted us to have an early ultrasound just to make sure everything is okay, and everything looks great the baby is measuring a little bigger, so our due date, from the ultrasound is March 18th.

The Hogle Zoo

On Friday we went to The Hogle Zoo with my Family, before school starts. It was a good day to go, we got some rain and it cooled us off, except we forgot to go on the train first and so when we did go to get on the train it started raining and they had to close it down, but the animals were fun to see and they have several new baby animals. We wanted to see the new baby elephant, but she won't be on exhibit for a few weeks.

Braxton is loves maps right now, so he was so excited to get a map of the zoo.

I love this picture, the giraffe is sticking his tongue out to get the leaves.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon a week ago with Brian and Lori's Family, and we had so much fun. Braxton loves Lagoon, he loves to go on all the rides. He isn't quite big enough to do the big rides, but hopefully next year. Thanks Brian and Lori for planning it!

Lake Tahoe

The Last week of July, Braxton and I headed to Lake Tahoe with my family and Doug headed to Alaska, fishing with his family (pictures to come later). Well the trip didn't exactly turn out as we would have liked, but we made it home safe and did have fun on the trip.

I will try to make a long story short. While driving to Lake Tahoe our civic broke down about an hour outside of Reno. The tow truck came ,thanks to my parents having Triple A we didn't have to pay for it, but then you'll never guess 10 min. into the drive the tow truck broke down, who would have guessed! Anyways they ordered a taxi for us took us into Reno, we rented a car and drove down to Lake Tahoe. Long story, the car was never fixed, mechanics couldn't figure it out and I didn't dare try driving it home, so when Alicia and Bob came out they were nice enough to tow our car home.

So while having car problems we did manage to find some time to have fun and enjoy Beautiful Lake Tahoe. Here's a few of our pics.

Broken tow truck and car.

The chillins have had enough of traveling.

Finally make it to the condo, enjoying the pool.

Our condo is in the back ground.

For my birthday Brynn planned for us to go on the Gondola ride up the mountain with our boys and have lunch.

It was such a beautiful view

Ultimate Croquet

About a month ago, as well, we had a picnic dinner at a park in Cedar Hills with the Cox Family and the Losee Family. After we had dinner we played Ultimate Croquet. It was a lot of fun.

Cascade Springs

I know, I know, I have been a little slow at updating the blog, so I will finally update a few things that we have done lately. This was about a month ago, we went to Cascade Springs one Saturday. It was a great little walk for Braxton he was entertained the whole time.

We saw the trout in the stream, and they kept jumping out of the water to get the bugs.
